The brief
A luxury hospitality concept where every frame had to feel like a five-star first impression.
Lantern Hotel was conceived as a landmark destination rising from Kuala Lumpur's skyline — a tower where gold-toned facades meet world-class interiors. The visual brief centred on establishing a sense of restrained luxury: warmth without excess, grandeur without distance.
Our scope spanned the full guest journey — from the exterior facade at golden hour, to the high-altitude cityscape aerial with the Petronas Towers in view, through the grand lobby, the sky-lit swimming pool, the all-day dining restaurant, and an intimate balcony framing the KL horizon.
Art direction
Golden-hour warmth applied across all exterior shots — bronze glazing catching the last light of day, setting the tone against a blue Kuala Lumpur sky. Interiors leaned into deep walnut, marble, and brass: materials that read authority at scale. Every interior framing kept a city view or sky reference to anchor the altitude.
